Advertise with us

Hotels, transport companies, and other travel businesses can buy clearly marked space on Your Afghanistan. It sits beside the guides, not inside them.

People open Your Afghanistan to read about a place, then they write to a hotel or a driver themselves. We do not take bookings or payments on this site.

A free directory listing is how most guesthouses and guides appear. Paid advertising is something else: a labelled spot, for a set period, in a few places we agree in writing. It sits next to the guide. It does not become the guide.

Free listing

A reviewed profile on Hosts & guides, with WhatsApp or email. Guests contact you directly. No commission. Use the For business page to request one.

For business

Paid advertising

A clearly marked banner, featured card, or “travel partner” mention on agreed pages. Write to us first. Nothing goes live until both sides accept the placement and the wording.

Who this is for

We talk to businesses that already serve travellers in Afghanistan, or that help people reach it.

  • Hotels, guesthouses, and lodges
  • Transport companies, car hire, and drivers
  • Coaches, domestic flights, and airport transfers
  • Tour operators who work with local hosts
  • Workshops and travel services that want a short campaign, not only a listing

We do not take ads for gambling, weapons, adult content, or anything that would mislead a visitor about visas, safety, or what a host actually offers.

Where ads belong

The honest place for an advert is where someone is already deciding how to stay or how to move. We keep the menus, the hero, and the articles editorial.

  • Hotels and guesthouses

    Hosts & guides directory

A labelled Featured card at the top of the directory is the most natural paid spot for a hotel. People on that page are already looking for a room or a host to message. It should never look like an ordinary listing.

  • Transport and transfers

    Getting there, after the guide

On a city, place, or package page, a small Travel partners block after the article works for a coach, a driver, or an airport run. It stays below the history and the walking notes. We will not drop a bus company into the middle of a mosque description.

  • Short brand campaigns

    Home page, below the fold

A modest partner strip under Plan and connect is acceptable. The photograph at the top, the search bar, and the landmark stories stay ours. Visitors should meet Afghanistan first, then a sponsor.

  • What we will not sell

Not the menus, not the essays

We will not rent the Explore menu, mix a paid hotel into a culture piece, or mark a package as recommended because someone paid. If a traveller cannot tell a guide from a pitch, we have put the advert in the wrong place.

How we label it

Every paid spot is marked as advertising, sponsored, or a travel partner — in the language of the page.

We review the name, the contact details, and the claim the same way we review a listing. If it contradicts the rest of the site, it does not run.

Buying space does not buy a review, a higher search rank, or a place inside an article.

How to enquire

There is no checkout for advertising. Rates depend on the page and how long the spot runs. We send those in a reply, not as a public price list, because the inventory is small and it changes.

Email contact@yourafghanistan.com with the subject line below. Include your business name, city, and what you want to promote — a hotel in Herat, a Kabul–Bamiyan transfer, a seasonal coach, and so on.

If you only need a public profile with WhatsApp, skip this page and use For business. Many hotels will want the listing first, then a featured card later.

Write to the platform

Use the address below for advertising. To reach a hotel or guide that is already listed, open their page and message them directly — we are not in that conversation.
