This page describes the cookies and similar storage Your Afghanistan uses. You can accept optional analytics or continue with essential storage only.
Essential
Cookie preference: we store whether you accepted or declined analytics so the banner does not return on every visit.
Admin session: staff who sign in to the dashboard receive an authentication cookie required to stay signed in.
Optional analytics
If you tap Accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 may set cookies to understand which pages are useful. This is optional and not required to read guides or contact a host.
If you tap Essential only, we do not load Google Analytics.
Maps
The public map can use OpenStreetMap without a Google key. If a Google Maps key is configured, Google may process map requests under Google’s policies.
Change your choice
Clear this site’s data in your browser, or delete the ya_cookie_consent value, then reload the page to see the banner again.
You can also use browser controls to block third-party cookies. More detail is in the Privacy policy.
